ResTech Services provides DIRECTV, America’s premier mini-dish satellite television service, to apartments, condominiums, townhome complexes or townhomes. The service requires only one centrally located 24-36″ satellite dish. It pulls in a signal that is shared by each resident via a digital DSS receiver.

A full range of programming is available, with over 265 channels, including local stations. However, your residents can customize their channel options and still get the great group rate!

Digital Bulk Model

General Description
100% of your residents activate a DIRECTV receiver and get a general market base-programming package. Residents benefit from competitive bulk pricing. Additional programming is also available with bulk pricing.

Resident Programming Upgrade Options
Residents may upgrade their base package, and have access to add all other DIRECTV programming and service options a la carte.

Billing Method
The property is billed for bulk programming. The customer is billed by DIRECTV for any additional programming and services.

Resident Programming Commitments
Required. Customer must establish service and setup account in event that any other services beyond the base package are needed.

Head-End Installation Required
None required.  Service delivered from Satellite to main distribution point, to customer unit distribution point, to receivers.

Direct to Home (DTH)

General Description
All units are pre-wired to receive DIRECTV, and you provide your residents the choice between DIRECTV and another video provider.

Resident Programming Upgrade Options
Residents choose their own general base package, and have access to add all other DIRECTV programming and service options a la carte.

Billing Method
The customer is billed directly for all DIRECTV programming and services.

DIRECTV for MDU FAQ

Do I need a dish for every resident who wants DIRECTV?

No. DIRECTV® service is available to all residents through a centralized distribution system. There will no longer be any individual DIRECTV satellite dishes. Any existing individual DIRECTV dish within your property can be easily removed.
