DIRECTV® SERVICE FAQ
Unfortunately, availability of Satellite services vary depending on the property.
However, DIRECTV Stream is available everywhere! It is nearly identical in terms of services and cost and a superior product with more flexibility. It can be delivered via an internet connected set-top box or by simply install an app on an internet connect TV or streaming device.
The difference is in the delivery.
DIRECTV Satellite is a traditional cable product, requiring a connection to a building mounting digital satellite and a set-top receiver for every television that you need connected. While a certain number of receivers are included, additional receivers can be obtained for additional monthly fees.
DIRECTV Stream is a fully internet connected streaming product. Users can select from a set-top streaming receiver or simply install the DIRECTV streaming app on their internet connected TV or streaming device.
While both services are great, at this point in the technology, we recommend DIRECTV Stream. It is simply a more flexible service. Easy to install. Easy to move. Transferrable to different devices. It’s a better way to experience the DIRECTV product and everything it has to offer.
